This website provides commentary and satire, with an eye on discussing complexity, national autonomy, individual sovereignty, neutrality, and balance of civilizations.

Background: I was born in Panama and have been on the move ever since, living with my parents and sister in Washington DC, Spain, France, Tunisia and Italy. After becoming a teacher and university professor I lived in Haiti, Australia, Mexico, Korea, Japan and now China (until December 2017). I play as forward on the Chengdu Panda Rugby team. I’m divorced with two Mexican-American children. My other accomplishment is riding a Kawasaki KLR from Los Angeles to the Panama Canal (I plan on circling South America from August – December 2018).
