Steele’s Steel

Michael Steele, in the video above, lambasted American evangelicals (Christians) for their partisanship:

“I have very simple admonition: just shut the hell up and don’t preach to me about anything ever again. After telling me who to love, what to believe, what to do and what not to do and now you sit back and the prostitutes don’t matter, the grabbing the you-know-what doesn’t matter, the outright behavior and lies don’t matter, just shut up!”

This guy is right to stand up against such an entrenched and established political faction that presents itself as an underdog but is really a bully. The country needs more people like him – and like Christopher Hitchens, may he rest in peace, who confronted the twin evils of Christianity and Islam, which spawned from the poisonous root of Judaism.

Today, American Christians not only rally around the Illuminati scriptures and a metaphoric messiah figure (who never actually existed) but they also rally around the Republican Party (not that the Democratic Party is any better).

Even for a fleeting moment, it was nice to see Steele poke American Christians in the eye. Such true believers imagine that their religion can define morality and ethics, and that they monopolize the road to salvation.

As has been said by others, this Christian claim that Christianity is the only path is actually blasphemy – an attempt to patent a god that is (or should be) much larger and grander than the people scribbling and reading from a book.

Few people have the courage of Hitchens to take on all three Abrahamic curses at once, along with their political factions and ethnic mafias. Even Michael Steel will surely not criticize Islam, which has protection from politically-correct conventions. And if Steele ever offered a searing condemnation of Judaism or Zionism, well, you would never see him on a cable news show again. Ain’t that the truth.
