The Giver

Giver-Mesa

The movie “The Giver” is worth a look. It’s available on Netflix.

It is about a self-quarantined community, in the round, with shades of 1984 and Brave New World.

It is surrounded by “Elsewhere,” which at the outermost limit is an ice wall  – beyond which contains the true memory of humanity.

That’sit for today, a quick tip.

I will be posting something daily, and this coming weekend there will be something a little more substantial, including reflections on the Joe Arpaio drama, the White House’s revolving door, and some elaborations on my earlier critique of modern Christianity as the New World Order’s controlled opposition (among other points most Christians will  find objectionable).
